Vimeo videos in Squarespace not pushing OG Image to social media posts of linked pages

Hi everyone - much appreciated to find the forum. I could really use your help

When our site (Lyric.ai) was uploading videos directly to our platform, we could easily utilize "featured images" on the content settings to put in a thumbnail of our choosing. THEN - when we posted the link of the video onto social media (e.g. LinkedIn) it would pull through the OG Image/featured image nicely to populate the post with the featured image. 

Because of the video space limitation with Squarespace, we are embedding videos from Vimeo. When that happens, the featured image override on the content settings no longer is applicable. And what pulls through to a social post is just a blank white image like below from this link https://www.lyric.ai/videos/v/quick-takes-dr-anthony-nguyen.

Is there any workaround or fix so that the Vimeo videos in our squarespace can have a featured image, so that shared links in social media posts will once again populate proper featured images for viewers?
