Hide navigation/header/logo & announcement bar on a single page - 7.0 (code I've found not working)

Hi, I'm putting together a landing page, for a webinar video. My site is produced in 7.0 on the Brine template.

I want to hide navigation/header/logo & announcement bar (everything at the top) on this single page

In the (distant) past, I've successfully achieved this, however today, when I use any of the code injection suggestions that I've found in the forum, everything remains stubbornly in place!

Help gratefully received! Thank you...

Oh, sorry, I thought I had... strange... www.studioeff.com/ai-masterclass-landing-page - the page content is still a WIP....

I also can't seem to get the background colour to change just for this page. It seems the techniques that I've used in the past no longer work... sigh... this colour: #BAE3E1.

soooo sorry, that's because there was a spelling mistake in the URL www.studioefef.com/ai-masterclass-landing-page - this is the correct link

Try adding this to that page's header code injection:

<style>
  header, .sqs-announcement-bar-dropzone {display:none !important;}
</style>

I tried that but it looks unchanged... and it comes up with the same 'error' highlight that I'm experiencing with everything I try....

just as you see in the attached graphic - where </style> is highlighted (perhaps that's not an indication of an error but I just perceive it to be)

do you have any other suggestion please?

Correct, that is just indicating the corresponding start/end tag, not an indication of an error.

OK thank you, well then, there isn't an error indicated, but the code had no effect... do you have any other suggestion please?

It's very late here (australia) - I'm about to sleep. I really appreciate the suggestion for an admin connection but is there anything I can try independently please?

The code I gave you works when I test it, I would need to do some local troubleshooting to be able to understand and hopefully fix the problem.

PS I had already been using the Block ID tool which is fantastic (I didn't realise it was yours until now), and I hadn't noticed the 'collection ID' is part of it, until now. Thank you 🙂 https://squarefortytwo.com/squarespace-guides/find-an-id-in-squarespace-71 (also works in 7.0)
