How do I make the "info@veritaslegalassociates.com" in the announcement bar clickable so it brings up an email?

Here is the code I used to get the email block in the announcement bar:

.header-nav:before {
    content: "info@veritaslegalassociates.com";
    display: block;
    position: absolute;
  left: 495px;
    top: -98px;
      font-size: 14px !important;
  color: white;
    text-align: right !important;
  padding: 1.4em;
  margin: 0 57em;
  border: 1px;
   border-style: solid;
  border-color: #FFFFFF; /* white */
  background:#6D4C3D;
}

Whenever I try to change the content to make it click through it changes the entire announcement bar and takes away the formatting I've created to have a second header line.

CSS can't make text clickable. You need to use script code to do this

You can add Email text (then add URL: mailto:info@veritaslegalassociates.com) and Phone (then add url: tel:(402)3258469) to Announcement Bar, I can give code to make both to button style, then both will be clickable.

I would appreciate it if you would provide the code.
