URL Parameters to pre-populate Form

I would like to create the following on a SS Form page... http://www.site.com/SignPledge?PledgeCode=xxx  To have the XXX numerical value fill out the form field of "Pledge Code" on the page when it loads up.  I know about the hidden field and passing something to that, but it would be nice to make it filled out in the visible space to avoid duplicate columns based on if someone used a link or manually entered the code.

I've seen plenty of links to various reference pages about React and finding form elements from inspection, but still unable to connect the dots (lots has changed since I last did this in 2008). If there is anyway to provide more detailed instructions, it would be greatly helpful.

Thanks!

Let me check again & send you code.

But you can also use a 3rd party custom form

Thank you. Looking forward to the code when you're able to share.

@rdubcle Were you able to fix this, because I'm running into a similar issue. In short, I'm able to automatically populate a form field (hidden via hidden field or via CSS) with Google Tag Manager but the value is not passing when sending.

My goal is to pass the GCLID value when someone is sending a form. I'm able to store the full URL with parameters in a 1st party cookie. Next, I create a variable so that I have the GCLID isolated. I'm also able to fill the hidden field (SQF_GCLID) with that GCLID. But when I hit send, the value is not showing in Google Sheets. Instead of a hidden field, I've also tried to add a regular field and hide it with css (display : none) but nothing happens either.

Based on the problem you described here, perhaps you might help?
