Is Squarespace awful for podcasting?

I've been using them for my podcast for 5 years but have no experience with anything else and I'm starting to feel like it's a big waste of money.

I have a lot of questions and I can't find any answers and this forum looks like a ghost town. Even joining this forum was difficult because I couldn't find it on Squarespace's "clubs" page because the search doesn't work and they only display two clubs so I had to google it to join.

Anyway, I'm trying to figure out:

1. How to get an individual episode's link to embed in another site.

2. Is there a way to add time-stamped show notes that link to the time in the episode. (Spotify does this)

Any advice from anyone would be nice. Even just a suggestion of a better forum for podcasters to share info.
