AndyS76 Posted February 6 Posted February 6 Hi everyone, new here, will try to make this brief. I do custom murals for clients - My website scottishgraffitimurals.co.uk used to be with TSO host, domain and hosting. I recently moved the domain to square space and put up a new square space site. I have since cancelled my old TSO hosting. When myself and friends search in google for either the website name, or key words such as "scottish graffiti murals" - google shows the results of the old site. Often clicking on one of these links will lead to a "page does not exist" error page in my new site. No new site results are coming up In the google results, just the old one, it even has the thumbnail of the old logo. I contacted TSO and they said that my site is pointing to 2 IPs, and that I should delete any A records not pointing at the new square space site. They gave me the following diagnostic results: https://www.domaindiagnosis.com/index.php?query=scottishgraffitimurals.co.uk I don't really know what any of this means - should I delete the first 4 A records that do not say "square space" ? Or is this just a case of Google taking a while to catch up and it will sort itself out? Hope someone can help! thanks
derricksrandomviews Posted February 6 Posted February 6 I think it is a matter of your new site records propagating through the web. I just googled (duck duck go, actually) Scottish graffiti murals and your site came up at the top of the page.
AndyS76 Posted February 6 Author Posted February 6 Derrick, thanks for the reply. Did the search result look like the one attached?

AndyS76 Posted February 6 Author Posted February 6 Thanks, for checking and uploading that. weird it changed. Both those results are still the old site. I hope its a case of Google taking a bit of time to adjust, and not something technical I need to try and unravel. I am not good with web stuff! derricksrandomviews 1
AndyS76 Posted February 6 Author Posted February 6 thanks for the info on the redirect - I will check that out derricksrandomviews 1
