Schuyler
HI, I have some html and css knowledge but i learned it YEARS ago and have forgotten most of it. I'm looking for a built in way to have an image and description in a portfolio gallery, be clickable and link to a separate, detail page with larger photo and original description for that one item. Do I have to use external code? I can see you can set up a link for an image but only if you don't use the Limelight feature, and then I assume I'd have to create separate pages for each item which seems like an unnecessary chore. Is there a workaround for this? The commerce pages already have something like it--a group of items that you click one and it opens to an individual detail page. But I'm not selling bowls, I'm selling art so it's different and I don't think I can tweak that template to do everything I need it to do. Advice appreciated! I thought i could do this myself but it's not as user friendly as I thought. Link to comment

For example, can you share a screenshot of a site that you like, or can you annotate your current page(s) to highlight your concerns? Many artists and galleries are using Store pages to display artwork. The Product List Page (PLP) shows a "product" thumbnail and title and, when clicked, the Product Detail Page (PDP) displays "product" images, a product description, and more.
