samizdat
A workaround for this is to simply drop a line content block at the end of each post in order to get the dividing line. However, this seems silly when a simple line of CSS code should do the same, but more cleanly. Does anyone know the CSS that would create a dividing line between blog posts in the Takk template? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Link to comment
jgennick
You could maybe try the following: .entry-content .body {border-bottom: 1px solid black;} See what you think. Link to comment

samizdat
One more question, though. I'm not sure how to format that line of code so that I can customize the color of the divider. How would I need to change it so that I can control the color with a hex code? Link to comment
samizdat
I had to run around the barn a dozen times when the doors were open and I could have just walked through them all along. I tried a dozen combinations before simply replacing "black" with the hex code. A coder, I am not. Link to comment
jgennick
Hey, sorry about that. Sometimes i use color names for quick and dirty testing. And I was buried in a deadline last evening and failed to see your queries about that. I have a small book available on learning CSS for Squarespace. You might find that helpful if you're interested in learning more. You can grab the first chapter free from my website. Putting the book aside, it's worth learning the rudiments of CSS just so you can have a little bit better understanding and control over your site's design. Plus, you'll be able to better understand CSS written by others. Link to comment
