Trapped in Squarespace Payments

I am so upset. I accidentally selected to connect to Squarespace Payments and now there is no way to switch to Stripe. I was told it has to be done internally by Squarespace and it is now stuck in being "elevated" but with no result. I can't sell my product without having it switched because anyone connected will lose access. How can Squarespace be allowed to hold your business hostage like this? I should be able to switch payment processors myself. What do I do now? I'm stuck with no resolution by Squarespace.
