alexsidles Posted January 31 Posted January 31 When I attempt to add a clickthrough link to an image, Squarespace has begun reformatting the link in an adverse way. If the target URL contains a string of numbers in the URL, Squarespace automatically reformats the clickthrough link to be a phone link instead of a URL link. And, because a phone link cannot contain letters, Squarespace automatically deletes all of the letters in the URL link. This reformatting has the effect of preventing clickthrough links to a URL if the target URL contains a string of numbers. So, for example, if the target URL in a clickthrough link is "../trip-reports/birch-bay-9-10-dec-2023" Squarespace reformats the clickthrough link to be a phone link to 9102023, the string of numbers that appear in the link. Squarespace refuses to link to the actual URL. There is no longer a way to generate a clickthrough link to a URL containing a string of numbers. Is there any way to turn off this adverse reformatting feature? —Alex

That is the only official channel to report potential bugs so that they can be accurately tracked, investigated, and escalated. Squarespace doesn’t use this forum to track bug reports.
