Commerce Send subscription renewal reminders to your customers You can now send subscription renewal emails automatically. When enabled, subscribers will receive an email reminder 15 days before their subscription renews. To be eligible for reminder emails, you need to have a subscription term of 12 weeks or more (if renewing weekly) or three months or more (if renewing monthly). Learn more about enabling subscription renewal reminder emails. Customers can now purchase digital products from their paywalls When a customer hasn’t yet purchased a digital product (access to a course, video page, or member site), they’re shown a paywall that merchandises the product. Here's an alternative link https://transmission-fluid-demo.squarespace.com/ but if this doesn't work, please direct message me with your email address (the one you use for Squarespace) and I'll create an English trial for you 🙂. DEVCHDM Posted February 9 Posted February 9 These updates are all great but is there any estimate of when or if Squarespace will address the Member Site issue of allowing anyone to create and login to an account from the Member Site login screen? This is REALLY important. Either that or enable the administrator to manually add members with a csv file. Heck I'd even type them in individually. I do not want to add 'non-certified' code for workaround. I do believe this is a big issue for many many people. I tried to get an answer to this issue while in the trial period, to no avail. It is a show stopper and is causing me to now look elsewhere, for a website building tool, after spending countless hours building pages, files, links etc., PLEASE fix this. Donna Mueller
rasmusarentsen Posted February 11 Posted February 11 Great updates but cannot possibly be as important as enabling bulk discounts. Being able do diffrentiate Price based on How Many items you buy is standard functionality in all other e-commeece platforms.
EntSocVic Posted February 11 Posted February 11 (edited) As per some of the previous comments, these updates are all great, but when is Squarespace going to address the issue of not being able to modify subscription pricing. This is a show stopper for us. We can't be expected to approach hundreds and hundreds of our customers who have subscriptions with us and expect them to cancel their subscriptions and purchase a new one. Is there an ETA on this enhancement. Please fix this!! Edited February 11 by EntSocVic
asomma Posted February 13 Posted February 13 Hello, and hope everyone is well. I am hoping to see the following improvements to Courses, which would make it much better and easier to use: 1) Duplicate entire courses 2) Allow for limited time access to specific courses 3) Allow for different social sharing images for each course 4) Create course reminders - and ideally users can choose how often they want to be reminded. (Some of my users forget to check in! ) Finally, 5) an easy way to pay in multiple currencies would be SO appreciated. Thank you for taking these improvements into consideration!!!
paul2009 Posted February 13 Posted February 13 (edited) @asomma Squarespace doesn’t use this forum to track demand for new features or to accept feature requests. To ensure your feature requests are seen by the right people at Squarespace, you are encouraged to raise a ticket through Squarespace Customer Support 🙂. You won't see a specific option for "Feature Request" but don't be put off. You can select any option and it will still reach the correct team. Did this help? Please give feedback by clicking an icon below ⬇️ There is absolutely no option for feature request in the dropdown that appears following your link. Also the former "ideas" pages do not seem to be accessible anymore. Where are we supposed to raise feature requests and how are we supposed to gather feedback on them? It feels like Squarespace is actively trying to discourage feature requests. Some long standing issues, like lack of WebP support, need to be addressed and yet there is no place to do a proper feature request. EntSocVic 1
EntSocVic Posted February 21 Posted February 21 I agree with @trych ...there is no feature request option. I did contact support and they gave me a vague answer which was simply we don't know if / when we will address your issue. The better way is to allow feature requests to be raised and then the community can "upvote" if they want the feature and provide feedback that would contribute to feature requirements. They way they do it now is terrible. Squarespace should read these comments and see how unhappy people are.
