Automatically changing the colour of one character in text

Hi all

I'm hoping to find a way to change the colour of one particular character "/" every time it appears. If it's possible to make it bolder too then even better.

I have seen a few examples for this sort of thing but they’ve all been specific to a particular area of the site and I lack the knowledge to implement on mine.
