Lines under my menu

I am having trouble with lines appearing below my menu selections. They are not centered correctly. Please see image I included. When I coded this, it was under 7.0. When we switched over to 7.1 it messed it all up. I messed around with all my code for a while until I gave up and just cleared out all my code. Custom CSS is completely blank now, and the lines still come up. Help!!

First, I'd recommend clearing your browsing data and refreshing the page- it could just be hanging an old style that you've since deleted.

My second suggestion, if you think its a styling setting within squarespace - reach out to their chat support and they will be able to help you located the settings on the styling platform.

And lastly, my suggestion would be to launch the inspector window and take a look under the hood at where the drop down is inheriting those styles from. Here is a quick how to:

Hey @FluffCreativeStudio, I tried clearing the cache but when I look at my website the lines still appear after I click on an object in the menu. Were you hovering over the menu to look for lines or had you selected a menu item?

I'm not sure why the active underline is showing so low, but this Custom CSS should fix it:

body:not(.header--menu-open) .header-nav-folder-item--active .header-nav-folder-item-content {
    background-position: 0 70% !important;
}
