Navigation Menu Help

Hi, I have customised my nav bar to have the same effect as mobile. At the moment when I open the menu, it removes the background of my header then comes back when closed.

I am looking to have my header background blurred and then changes to #181818 once navigation bar is opened and back to blurred once closed.

Is this something that can be fixed and done?
