PaulaGphoto Posted January 25 Posted January 25 (edited) Is there a way for a viewer to pause a slideshow that's on autoplay? I'm using quite a few, and I'd like a viewer to be able to control it if they want to look at a particular image. I can't believe the only options are autoplay or manual. Thanks. Edited January 25 by PaulaGphoto added autoplay factor
Ellelle Posted April 1 Posted April 1 Following as I am looking for an answer to this too. I want the gallery slideshow to pause on an image if it is hovered over. PaulaGphoto 1
PaulaGphoto Posted April 1 Author Posted April 1 There is no solution, I'm afraid. The lame and outdated web host I left in January was able to do this, along with being able to zoom on the stopped image. I'm getting really frustrated by all the things Squarespace can not do. Ellelle 1
Ellelle Posted April 8 Posted April 8 Yes, i've used a slideshow reel now instead! It's not ideal is it.
justinjamesclack Posted April 8 Posted April 8 Do you have the url to your website? I may have a solution PaulaGphoto 1

I've tried targetting the block ID, the .sqs-gallery-wrapper and everything inbetween. It might not be possible, but maybe @tuanphan or @Ziggy could help?

Sorry, I'm not getting my notifications. I've abandoned autoplay in my slide shows. Very frustrating, can't believe Squarespace can't add this. https://www.paulagoldman.com/
