Squarespace Printify connection Woes

When I connect my Printify Store to my current Squarespace store, it seemed an easy integration. 
 

Instead, when I attempted to copy my products to my Squarespace store, I continually get an error message. The issue is, it is linking to my homepage of my website, not the store page. After hours on chat with customer service at Printify, their solution was to put my store on my homepage, which I do not want…… There is no option on their site to edit the website, merely adding /store to the connect. Any suggestions?
