Quickly change blog post date

Not sure if I'm posting in the correct place - I have problems determining how to select the most appropriate one.

I'm rebuilding a blog from a previous site and am backdating posts so they appear in the same order as the original. Is it possible to simply enter the date of a post, rather than having to click in the Publication date field? This is incredibly cumbersome

@CPKing Unfortunately, no. It is incredibly cumbersome, but there's no batch or fast way to do it. The blog functionality of Squarespace hasn't been updated in a number of years.
