cromero311 Posted January 20 Posted January 20 I have a digital product/course that has a pay in full option or a pay over 6 month option. In the confirmation email I get from Squarespace after someone purchases the course using the 6 month option, it states the customer was charged the initial payment and will be billed monthly for the next 5 months unless they cancel the subscription. So my question is how do I prevent them from cancelling as they get access immediately to the entire course, so presumably they could finish the course in a matter of hours or days and then just cancel???

It's not possible for members to cancel installment payments after signing up. However, if they signed up for a subscription, they can cancel the subscription at any time. Did this help? cromero311 Posted January 20 Author Posted January 20 That makes sense and yes it is an installment plan so I was just thrown off by the Squarespace confirmation email which says this "This is payment 1 of 6. There are 5 payments remaining. The payment method the customer provided will be charged next on February 20, 2024 unless the subscription is cancelled." See screenshot to see what it looks like on the back end. Just want to make sure I didn't somehow create a subscription instead of an installment plan. Thanks so much for your help!

I agree the wording could be clearer. I guess they are referring to the fact that you are able to cancel the subscription on the customer's behalf.
