Tandoor
Hi, I don't know what I did but suddenly the text blocks on our website have a strange purple cast. Does anyone know how to get rid of this? http://www.pnaiorpdx.org. I've attached a photo. Notice the purple color around the photo. I'd like this to be white. Thank you very much for any help! Solution Ziggy Posted January 18 Solution Share Posted January 18 Hi Polina, I believe that that is a drop shadow on the header. If you edit the page and then edit the header, then go to design, you should be able to find the Drop Shadow settings under effects. Let me know if that's where the purple is coming from. Good luck! thetaimourahmed
To get the purple out and bring back that crisp white you're after, you'll want to follow these simple steps: Log in to your website where you edit the content. Look for something like "Appearance" or "Design" in your menu. That's usually where the style party is at. Find the section for "Custom CSS" or "Stylesheet" – this is the VIP area where all the magic happens. Now, keep your eyes peeled for any code that has 'background-color' with a purple-ish color code next to it – it might look something like #800080 or rgba(128,0,128,...). Change that pesky purple color code to #FFFFFF – that's the VIP pass for white. Save your changes, and voilà! You should see the purple haze disappear and the white background making a grand comeback. If you're still seeing purple, it might be a bit more shy and hiding in a different spot. If that's the case, don't fret – just reach out to someone who knows their way around the CSS dance floor, and they'll help you shoo away the purple tint for good. Link to comment
