Can I convert shop pages to categories?

Can I convert shop pages to categories so that I can alter my navigation structure without having to resist everything?

I have recently converted my website to version 7.1 which has a much better way of organising shop categories. Currently, I have a gallery that acts as my category page for different collections and links to each shop page but I'd much rather use the functionality that 7.1 affords.

Is there any way to convert them without having to resist everything? I have far too many products to be wasting time on that.

Yes @HeatherTPATP. You can easily move products between Store pages. 

After moving products to a new page, add product categories to recreate your store's organisation.
