Embedding login iframe in a page instead of it being a popup

Recommended Posts

In order to access member areas, members must log in. When you click login in the header a popup appears which is great and works well when the website is in its original language.

We are using Weglot to translate the website from English to Italian and we may decide to add more languages later. The problem here is that Weglot does not support the login popup, so users in any language other than English cannot log in. It's not just that the popup is in the wrong language, but it doesn't show at all. For this reason we've removed this link from the header.

My questions are:
Is it possible to embed the popup iframe in a page which could be used by everyone?
Are there any other alternatives which would allow users of Weglot to log in?
Is this impossible due to cross origin restrictions or some other reason?

If anyone has any ideas, I'm listening... 😀
