Fix marquee and gallery block to vertical center

Recommended Posts

Hello all!

I am looking to fix a marquee and gallery vertically to the center position (i've already eliminated scrolling with CSS). The idea is to always have an equal amount of white space above and below the group and the text overlap slightly on the gallery. Click here to see the site as is. I'm not terribly picky about the size of the text/gallery combo but I'd like for it to consume the better half of the available "canvas". See the attached markup for the correct(ish) ratios and then a screenshot of my iPad when I turn it portrait. Let me know if anyone has any thoughts! FYI the position on the page on other laptops/devices is particularly worse...seperating text/gallery or positioning halfway outside of screen...etc.

Many thanks!

Jordan

Try this to Website Tools (under Not Linked) > Custom CSS

div#block-yui_3_17_2_1_1704641957404_12598 {
    position: fixed;
    top: 50%;
    transform: translateY(-50%);
}

tuanphan this gets me halfway there...accept when it comes to a mobile screen. is there a way to not do this on mobile only? Massive thank you anyway!
