JakMacD Posted January 6 Posted January 6 (edited) Hi, I am making the move to Squarespace. I designed the website and am ready to plug it to my domain. My website and domain are currently active, hosted on GoDaddy and DNS Servers managed on Cloudflare. The emails and documents I have created through Google Workspace are quite important and I don't want to lose them in the migration. I know that Google Workspace management remains managed through Google if the domain wasn't initially bought on Squarespace. I read about cases where people made the move and lost their data while doing and it's making me hesitant. How to swiftly transfer the domain to Squarespace and link it to the new website I designed here without losing data? I already stopped the auto-renewal GoDaddy but my guess is that these issues have something to do with DNS servers (could be wrong, newbie here) Do I need to keep the DNS Servers on Cloudflare to ensure email functionality? How would you go about it? Please advise, thank you. Edited January 7 by JakMacD
Sherrelle Posted January 7 Posted January 7 I am also interested in learning more on this. I just transferred my google domain over to squarespace. My site that I built through google is completely lost once the domain transfer was completed. Do I need to create a new site all over again?
