Bolding home, about me, my book, contact

I am trying to use custom CSS to bold parts of my header home, about me, my book, and contact, but I am not sure how. I've tried other codes you have posted, but they aren't working. I wish there were an easier way to bold these and to make them a bigger text

First, you'll need to link to your website.

Second you'll need to actually be specific about which exact parts of your site (And which page, section etc) you're referring to.

If you're vague it's hard for anyone to help you.

I want to bold the header portion: Home, About me, My book, and contact for all the pages. 

Sounds like you just want to change the font style for the site navigation. You can do this by going into the Site Styles (the icon that looks like a paint brush on the top right. Then select Fonts -> Assign Styles and locate "Site Navigation."  From there you can customize the font style and increase the weight of the font.
