Does Commerce Basic charge Square Space fees for donations

We are a not-for-profit.

Using the Business Plan, I pay $30 on a $1,000 donation for SquareSpace fees. Independent of Stripe fees.

I see transaction fees for "Product" sales and digital downloads are 0% in upgraded plans.

Will a "donation" incur any SquareSpace fees? Hard to tell if we'll still get hit with a SquareSpace fee if we upgrade.

BTW, the "contact us" page has me in a mad loop where I could fill out and Acuity form, but cannot fill out anything for websites. Spins for a bit, then throws me back to the "contact us" page. Hoping I can get an answer in the forum.

Yes, you will occur a percentage fee on donations

If you upgrade from a Business Plan to a Commerce Plan, you won't pay the 3% transaction fee. You'll just pay the payment processing fees (to Stripe or Squarespace Payments).
