Change 0000 0000000 phone number format to 00000 000000

Hello, I wish to change the 0124 3000000 phone number format to 01243 000000 (five digits, space, six digits) within the contact us form. Also, the website does not allow for autofill – is there a fix for this?

For the digits, I assume you'd need Javascript for this. Easiest thing to do would be create this field as a Text field, then add the format you'd like people to use as the placeholder text as a prompt

Thanks for looking into this. Does this mean I would need to avoid using a contact form block template (as attached)? Not sure how I'd create a full contact form with various text fields and link it all to one form?

You can use Contact Form Block, but use Text Field instead of Phone field
