kellym52 Posted December 12, 2023 Posted December 12, 2023 Hi! I am attempting to create functionality on my squarespace 7.0 website where a user clicks a word in a paragraph and the definition of that word appears as a pop up right underneath that word. Then, the user can close that definition popup box by clicking an x in the popup or by clicking outside of the popup. I've seen this done via CSS pseudo classes for positioning (:before) and hover states to show the definition, but I need click functionality (esp for mobile of course). I purchased the lightbox anything plugin to achieve this, and it's worked well for everything besides the positioning of the lightbox itself. I need a way to position the lightbox relative to the link that was clicked, instead of positioning it in the middle of the page every time. Is this possible with this plug in? If not, does anyone have another suggestion on how to achieve the aforementioned functionality for the website? Thank you!
