Having trouble connecting Squarespace domain to Google Workspace

I have a domain with Squarespace and I've signed up for Google Workspace (received the first year free). However, when I click the 'Google Workspace' option  in Squarespace settings I get the 'Select a Google Workspace plan' screen as if I never signed up. 

In the Google Admin Console, everything looks good. My Google Workspace plan is active and my domain is showing as the primary (and only) domain.

It seems that although according to Google Workspace the domain and GW are connected, Squarespace doesn't recognize any connection.

So, I'm looking for any kind of lead or answer to this, I'm going nuts.

Squarespace hasn't responded to my tickets (sent 4-5 days ago) so they're of no use.
