Samarth Posted November 30, 2023 Posted November 30, 2023 I understand that how utms can be helpful for tracking the things in GA, specially in case of GMBs because one may not be able to know weather it is coming from Direct, organic or GMB. But my question is: 1) Should we use UTMs in GMBs ideally? 2) Are UTMs good for organic ranking i.e. for SEO? As per my knowledge, UTMs are considered a seperate URLs by google, though right canonical may componsate on that, but still its a seperate url after all. Being an SEO my prime focus is to rank the non UTM urls. With local non UTM urls being ranked, link and rank juice are equally passed onto the GMBs also. Taking this into consideration, one more question arises, why would i even use UTMs at first place in GMB? So, there is a lot of confusion in this regard. Please let me know what shall be done in this case.
