Wells Template, Sidebar Menu

Recommended Posts

Hi lovely folk of the forum!

I was wondering if you'd be able to help me at all - I loved the old template Wells...which I know isn't available on 7.1 templates - is there a way in which I can make  custom sidebar? Maybe with code? I'm not so great at this, so it takes me a little time and a lot of experimenting.

I was wondering also if there was a way to take the Wells template format for the galley - like the one in this link; https://www.bridgetfleming.com/

I have both videos and photography to showcase and need it to be somewhat creative, whilst being completey user friendly.

I also have a couple of other questions regarding overlaying the logo.

Apologies for all of the questions and possible ramblings...if anyone could give me a little help, it would be greatly appreciated!

I hope to hear from you soon.

Best,

Mish.

Wells is still a popular template and you can still build a new Wells based site but, as you probably know, this 7.0 template can't use the new 7.1 features.

Regarding a sidebar navigation, you may want to read through this similar thread. Sadly, the newer Squarespace 7.1 platform wasn't designed for a style similar to the Wells template, so it isn't very practical to build a Wells lookalike on version 7.1.
