Smuggerby
I haven't found a way to change this, is this just a "feature" of this template or is there actually some way to change it? Beyondspace 1 Link to comment
creedon
I have no problem using my context menu for my test site. SS would not be installing code to prevent context menus. Smuggerby
But that just saves as an HTML, not the actual image, as far as I understand? Link to comment
creedon
Quote But that just saves as an HTML, not the actual image, as far as I understand? You are absolutely correct! I wasn't paying attention, my bad. I can explain why there is a difference in behaviour between the thumb and the expanded version. Squarespace has added several overlays that act as controls for previous, back to thumbs, and next. So when you bring up the context menus, it isn't seeing the image but the HTML elements and so does not offer the option to save an image. I don't have a solution but some ideas. Two ways I can think of potentially solving the issue. They would both involve JavaScript and would require the business plan or above. The first would be to remove the expanded image overlays and then the user would rely on the lower left hand corner controls. The second would be to add a button or link as an overlay to the overlays that would download the image. Find my contributions useful? Smuggerby
Ah, I see, I liked the layout of this template but I probably will just change it then. Usually clients/art directors want to save image files so that was the reasoning behind this. Link to comment
