Buzh
Hi All I recently created a very simple website https://sites.google.com/view/ivfinkz/home using free google site package. After that I bought a domain from Squarespace named www.ivfinkz.com hoping to connect this domain to my newly created google site. after copying and pasting all the DNS records (snapshot below), I thought I had sucessfully pointed/linked the Squarespace domain www.ivfinkz.com to my google site. At least I sucessfully verified myself as an owner of the domain in google settings and I copied google site DNS records to my Squarespace site DNS records. I left the site for couple of days to propagate. After 2 days when I searched my Squarespace domain, all I could find was a landing Squarespace page and not my google website. I have redone the pointing/linking of my domain to google site again and again. The result is the same. I sent multiple emails to Squarespace support team. It seems like they have a limit on the number of troubleshooting requests. They nerver responded. At the same time Google also doenst have support. Can soneone please advise what do I do wrong. I thought that maybe I need to delete the Squarespace landing "under construction" page, which maybe in some way interferes with all the DNS records. But to delete the ladning page, I need to cancel my domain subscription. Can someone help me to make sure that its my google site that shows up under the domain name. Thanks! Link to comment

Where did you find them on the google site? You need to go to your google website and in the top right corner find settings. Once you click on settings you need to find "Custom domain" and add your domain. The rest you of the process is guided. There are many videos on youtube on the susequent steps. Link to comment

I used the free google site constructor and built my site there. Link to comment
yazyayinlari
Hi Buzh, It seems that the problem has been resolved and www.ivfinkz.com can be accessed. However, I have the same problem at www.yazyayinlari.com. Can you explain how you overcame this problem? It is very important for me. Thank you so much for your help. Link to comment
Dusaa
The issue is that Google wants the period at the end of their host on the custom records (It says to keep the period at the end) Issue is that the DNS custom records on squarespace don't accept a period at the end. Link to comment
