PollenandCo Posted November 16 Share Posted November 16 Does anyone know a way around the checkout layout in a basic e-commerce plan? Apparently squarespace can't help. When you go to my checkout page the delivery method shows up before the shipping address is entered and when the address is entered it doesn't select the correct shipping rate. It goes by the default/first shipping option and doesn't show the second shipping option until you start to fill out the address. Because this information is ABOVE the shipping address section, it gets missed by my customers. No one thinks to scroll back up to see their options. I'm looking to either sync up the shipping address entered to the correct shipping rate OR have the delivery option/method show up BELOW the shipping address field. Is this possible? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Link to comment

I understand the issue (I have been advocating for customers to be asked about the shipping address before they are shown shipping options or estimated shipping costs) but it hasn't reached the top of the priority list yet. In the meantime, if you'd like to raise this as a feature request, you are encouraged to contact Squarespace directly by raising a ticket through Squarespace Customer Care. Did this help? My store has many international customers so it is highly preferable to have the country dropdown menu at the top of the shipping address. See attached. According to Squarespace support, this is currently not an option natively supported. Is there some existing workaround for this? It seems I am losing customers who get frustrated and abandon their carts. #ConversionWoes Link to comment

I don't believe that you will be able to change this. Coding is changeable! It's just a matter of moving one box of information below an other. The ability to do this is out there. You guys need to contact whoever designed your checkout process. It's seriously hurting my sales. Link to comment
