"UNABLE TO LOAD VIDEO, TRY AGAIN LATER" This message keep on appearing on my videos

Hi,

I've been dealing with an issue on my website regarding videos. Frequently, I encounter the message "UNABLE TO LOAD VIDEO, TRY AGAIN LATER." Even after refreshing, the problem persists, reappearing after some time.

I've attempted various fixes like uploading the video directly to SquareSpace, using links, and even deleting all my code. Unfortunately, none of these solutions seem to resolve the issue.

I noticed others in the forum had a similar problem this year but couldn't find a solution. Could anyone assist with this?

Im suddenly getting the same issue, looks like a Squarespace bug possibly.

I also have the same issue and contacted customer service. They said that it was indeed an issue on their end and it's something they can't fix right now and that "we can't guarantee changes to this behavior in the immediate future". Are you also still having the problem or did you find a solution to this issue?

Having the same issue on my site which is a video portfolio for a client and getting the same message on all the video blocks after about 30s of being on the page. 

Any body managed to get any help on this?

I am having the same problem. I know this is a holiday (or close to it), but Squarespace needs to fix this asap. This is a busy work time for a lot of people. From these posts, looks like Squarespace has known about this for about a week.

I'm very much getting this error too. After reducing my video sizes to about 1-5mb each, the problem still occurs. Pretty frustrating when we finally hit launch on the site yesterday and this happens all of a sudden. If there's any fix please let me know!

I'm also having the same issue, really not ideal when sending my folio and people can't view my work!!

CORS errors all around, this is such a massive issue that SP seems deaf to its user base. No responses from support, no notifications to users on work around just very LOUD SILENCE. 

just got off with SP support and it seems they have fixed the issue internally, but they did not admit to an issue. Will see what they say in a follow up email. 

Curious if other's video issues have been resolved as well.

I'm still having the same issue, I was told it might be my browser or browser settings, I'm using Chrome which is pretty much the default at this points so pretty frustrating that videos aren't working
