Khechog
Does anyone know if SS websites have been configured to use SMTP authentication by default for sending order confirmation emails, etc or how I can find out if it is? We've received an email from our hosting service saying; "Mandatory SMTP Authentication from 8th January 2024 Starting from 8th January 2024, all emails sent through our hosting services will require SMTP authentication. This change is crucial to prevent unauthorized use of our mail servers and to protect against spam and abuse." Thank you Mandy Nicol Link to comment

Email notifications are sent from Squarespace email servers. This means you don't need to concern yourself with authentication methods. On a related issue, if you are using a custom domain for these emails you may need to configure DKIM or SPF records. See Custom email addresses and Squarespace for more info. Did this help?
