Code for 7.1 to hide Header and Footer of an individual page

Recommended Posts

Hi, Im hoping that someone can help me with a problem I'm having where the main navigation of my site is force into the hidden section of the site when editing a page that had the codes below activated on them. The website worked fine before adding the codes listed below:

#collection-653fdb8f9eead95af11a4cc3{
.header{display:none}
 footer {display:none}
}

<style>
#header{ display: none !important; }
#footer-sections{ display: none !important; }
</style>

Does anyone have an alternative to these?

Sorry, I didn't word my previous email very well, please disregard it.

I have been having problems with my sites navigation. When I save pages the main navigation is automatically moved into the hidden section and all pages within folders are removed as well. I previously thought the problem was this the codes I mentioned but after removing them it is still happening.

Is this a problem caused bysomething i've done or is it a problem that others are having as well?

As explained by @SaranyaDesigns above, if you added that code to the Code Injection panel of your site, your site navigation, including folders, will be hidden. You will need to remove the code, save the changes, and refresh the site in your browser to restore them. If the issue is something else, please help us to understand the issue by providing a screenshot and a link to the page. If required, How to Post a Forum Question provides guidance on how to do this.
