Creating Variations from Existing Products

We have about 400 item in our store.  We'd like to take about 250 of them and make variations.  For example, we have a 16oz bag of flour, 44oz bag of flour, 5 pound bag of flour and 25# bag of flour.   Then another product is brown sugar -- also in the same bag sizes.  Each of these items already exist in our inventory/products.  Does Squarespace have a way to pull items together in variations without having to re-enter the information? 

I've searched the help and forums for this issue, but the only thing I can find is for people who are creating variations from scratch, and not after the fact.

Squarespace does not have a way to merge products. You'll need to make the changes manually by adding all the size variants to one product, set the stock levels for each variant, and then delete the products in the other sizes.

Note that when you delete a product from your inventory, the product will automatically be removed from the cart of any user who is shopping on your site.
