[Flatiron] Trying to make main page thumbnails scroll/slideshow the gallery images

So I have a photography portfolio website https://www.jonathanfasulo.com

I am using the Flatiron template, and the images go into galleries which populate the main page. What I would like to happen, is have the thumbnails of each individual gallery scroll through or slideshow through all of the images inside that gallery. I'm looking for this to make the page look more dynamic but also be able to have viewers see images they may not see if they dont click on a gallery.

Is there any way to do this? I am not a coder or web developer (obviously, I am a photographer) but I am not completely helpless. But I dont know where to start here and if anyone has any answers or leads I'd be very appreciative.
