Turn homepage banner into a slider

Hello! I have been struggling with how to solve a desire of my clients' for the homepage of their new site. They are very set on having the hero image cycle through several photos featuring different people. Take a look to get an idea of what I'm talking about. I have tried a few things that are problematic for one reason or another and would love some help solving this. Obviously, the mobile version needs to be just as legible as the desktop. Currently, I have a custom version of the image for mobile.

I am feeling a bit desperate and open to any suggestions! Thank you in advance for lending me your brainpower.

@NatPark Hmmm if there are no slider blocks available by default in the current template you're using, I would say it's going to involve quite a bit of custom coding to achieve this... One way around it might be to take the images and create an animated gif? Then just upload the gif to the hero area as a regular image? It's a cheat, but it's probably the simplest solution without a bunch of extra work? https://ezgif.com/help/how-to-create-gif-slideshow 

@SaranyaDesigns I was thinking the same thing. I might need to hire someone to lend a hend with a custom solution. If anyone believes they can help with this, I'd love to chat! 

The issue with the GIF would be not having the text and image be fully responsive. Thank you for the suggestion though!
