Lotsoftales Posted November 5, 2023 Posted November 5, 2023 See attached screenshot of issues in SS settings. Also attached feedback from SS support noting that they believe this to be a 'script' or coding issue. We have not changed any code for about 5 weeks and this problem has only occurred in the last week. In the last week, our analytics page is not reporting any traffic to the homepage as well.

I appreciate that you haven't changed your code, but Squarespace are regularly changing their code and, from the checks that support carried out, your code now appears to be conflicting with the platform. Have you followed their advice and removed the code? Once the site is working again, you can then add individual sections of code to see which one is causing the issue. This is usually the quickest way to solve problems like this. Did this help? We know that removing the custom code related to a section of our site fixes the problem. It's a critical element to our site & homepage so removing it all together isn't a solution. It was created by a 3rd party developer, so I assume that the code needs updating to fix the issue. This becomes an ongoing problem if SS continue to change their code.
creedon Posted November 13, 2023 Posted November 13, 2023 Quote This becomes an ongoing problem if SS continue to change their code. SS will continue to change their code. If SS didn't change their code we would have never gotten v1 thru v7.1 of SS and they wouldn't have been around for 20 years. Folks, when you use custom code you need to incorporate maintenance of that code into your website maintenance process. Lotsoftales 1 Find my contributions useful?
