I have been trying to sort this since about June or July & Sqaurespace has been extremely unhelpful & quite condescending. I have custom fonts that I used on my website and when the site updated from 7.0 to 7.1, one of my fonts stopped showing. I had a professional install/do the coding initially so when the people at Squarespace who are supposed to "help" told me that they couldn't fix this or provide an update to the solution, and then proceeded to tell me I wasn't qualified to do my own coding and to have a professional do it, I grew quite angry. Is anyone on here able to help me?

Please provide some more details, including:

  • a working link to the page on your site where font(s) are not working as expected.
  • details of the text that is not rendering in your chosen fonts(s).
  • the custom code (CSS) you are using to show the font(s).

If you are unsure how to do provide this information, please see How to Post a Forum Question.

Hi! Thank you so much for responding! One of the issues is when I was emailing with them, they kept saying they could see the font. I can see the font on my computer, but I'm assuming that is because I have downloaded and installed the font on my computer. I have tried it on several other random computers/mobile devices and web browsers, and it does not appear.

https://www.languageoflifeartdance.com/about (the title "ABOUT" should be in the font Versailles)

https://megalodon-calliope-lbby.squarespace.com/config/pages I'm not sure how much access you have, but this is a test page (it is not live) I created and the only thing on it is the text "Versailles font?"

This font in question is called Versailles and I purchased it from Creative Market.

font-face {font-family: 'Versailles-Regular';src: url('https://static1.squarespace.com/static/602ed77618aac016a81184df/t/650dc8bb299c8d40b0b524a4/1695402171719/Versailles-Regular.otf');
}
h3 {font-family: 'Versailles-Regular';}
// ASIGN VERSAILLES FONT//
h3 {font-family: 'Versailles-Regular';}

@SarahL87 There's an "@" symbol missing just before "font-face" in your code sample above. If this is missing in the Custom CSS panel, it will prevent the font loading via the website.
