Is it possible to alter the size / location of the image generate by rollover on an index page?

Hello

I am using Carson template and the home page is an index page. 

It's default is to display the media you have set for each project full screen behind the index on rollover.

What I would like to do to create more interest in on the page is have the media displayed smaller and at a random x/y location.

A bit like this site https://www.lukeandfab.io/ but background and random each time you roll over.

Is this possible?

I can't seem to find block ids for either the individual items in the index or the background images.
