Changing Page Titles, URL Slugs and Top Category on just ONE page

I am hoping somebody on the forum can help me.  I've followed the instructions that representatives and various videos have given me to no avail.  When I change the various pages titles, it makes a global change for every single page even though I am using the sidebar navigation menu with the gear icon and then going to general settings with the expectation that the change will happen for ONLY that page.  The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again while expecting different results.  That's where I am at now.  Your help will be greatly appreciated.  The titles that I am trying to change per page instead of universal changes are the page title, the URL slug and the top title.  Thank you much!
