New here, use to google sites and domains

I just got my first domain with square space.  I'm use to using google sites with google domains.  I want to continue using google sties, with my square space domain. 

I can't figure out how to point my square space domain to my google "sites" website: https://sites.google.com/view/sober-marines/home

Can I get some help with this?

I am having the same issue. I have a couple of CNAME entries--one from verification and the other is the googlehosted one, but Google Sites keeps telling me it isn't verified, when it is. So what am I doing wrong?
