z8987 Posted October 31, 2023 Posted October 31, 2023 I just got my first domain with square space. I'm use to using google sites with google domains. I want to continue using google sties, with my square space domain. I can't figure out how to point my square space domain to my google "sites" website: https://sites.google.com/view/sober-marines/home Can I get some help with this? Thank you.
MomCatM4 Posted November 2, 2023 Posted November 2, 2023 I am having the same issue. I have a couple of CNAME entries--one from verification and the other is the googlehosted one, but Google Sites keeps telling me it isn't verified, when it is. So what am I doing wrong?
EmilyPikeLMT Posted December 22, 2023 Posted December 22, 2023 My issue is that my Google Sites tells me that my domain is "Invalid DNS". The only issue that I can see is that Google tells me to use a period after the Host, while Squarespace won't save the record with the period included. What are the correct DNS records needed to connect my Squarespace Domain to my Google Site?
wallspaceinnovations Posted February 4 Posted February 4 I am having the same issue and continue to try to get help from Squarespace chat to no avail. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Solution JayneC_SQSP Posted October 15 Solution Posted October 15 Hi everyone, thank you for posting here! We have information and step-by-step instructions for connecting a Squarespace domain to a Google Sites site here: Connecting your Squarespace domain to a Google Sites site If you're having trouble editing DNS settings, the troubleshooting steps in this guide may be helpful to review: Adding custom DNS records to your Squarespace-managed domain - Troubleshooting In particular, I recommend checking the following: Check if your domain is using Squarespace's default nameserver settings. Remove any conflicting DNS records. Don't include your root domain in the Host column, since this is added by our platform automatically.
