X5pilot
Hi all, Newish Squarespace user here. I'm fining tuning my site before going live... Appreciate if someone can offer help on this... I'm using a Banner Slideshow on my homepage with images scrolling. I'd like to use the card feature to display some brief info about the image plus a Goto Button... I can do all this however is there a way to make the solid color, white in my case, transparent so it doesn't block the image behind - this is especially an issue in mobile view. I know I can switch off the background color but this presents a different issue whereby the text is lost in the image. Thank you Link to comment

Solution jaeveedee Posted October 30 Solution Share Posted October 30 @X5pilot You can adjust the colors for all these things in your site styles under the color palette. Figure out which color scheme you're using for this section, looks like maybe "lightest 1". Then find the List Section: Banner Slideshow. Under "Card" you can change the opacity to 0 with that slider on the bottom. ☕ Did I help you? Buy me a coffee! 💻 I'm for hire on Upwork! Link to comment
