heatherfreemanartist Posted October 29, 2023 Posted October 29, 2023 Hi, I've been trying to get my blog and posts to index with no luck --On Google Search Console I've gotten the "Alternate page with proper canonical tag" problem, so made a separate home page (rather than the blog as home page) -- still no luck. I've manually entered the individual blog posts for indexing on 10/27, but it was very fast (~36 hours) last time. When I go to the SEO setting for the individual blogposts, I've noticed they say "Unable to render component" and say "Unable to find component with type: seopaywallbanner" -- I've had no luck figure out what that means or if that's the problem? Screen grabs in case it's helpful, thank you in advance! Heather WillBazlinton and Edward123456789 2
Edward123456789 Posted October 29, 2023 Posted October 29, 2023 Hi I'm also getting this error. Have to believe it's a Squarespace issue on their end: from the console: " Object body: "Because your course is behind a paywall, you can’t update your SEO settings. Update your Paywall settings to configure SEO for this Collection." buttonText: "Paywall Settings".
WillBazlinton Posted October 30, 2023 Posted October 30, 2023 Same issue here - no idea what it means!
adsausage Posted October 30, 2023 Posted October 30, 2023 Anyone having new issues seeing this? Unable to find component with type: seopaywallbanner
heatherfreemanartist Posted November 1, 2023 Author Posted November 1, 2023 Yeah, to my knowledge I have no paywall set up.

heatherfreemanartist Posted November 13, 2023 Author Posted November 13, 2023 @creedon That's helpful, thank you! Do you know if there's actually a way to submit a help request directly to Squarespace? I haven't been able to find that info on their website.

You should be able to submit a support request via Squarespace Customer Care using a support ticket, although I know there are some issues reaching the support form using some browsers.
