A few questions to answer before someone can help:

  1. Can you share your website URL?
  2. Where are these text blocks?
  3. Background colour or text colour?
  4. What colour?

Thank you for your answer.

My website is not online yet but my current URL is https://capybera-cymbals-hnts.squarespace.com/about

The two blocks are on my About page, one a the beginning and another one at the end.

I'd like to change the text colour on the first one (no background) from black to this reference #A9B3FC

The second block text is working fine, it's on a white background with blue text and I'd like to keep it that way.

When I tried some CSS code, it changed both text colours when I'd like them to be different.

Thank you!

If you can't find the colour setting in the styles menu you can use this Custom CSS:

#block-yui_3_17_2_1_1698177283159_33829 {
  .sqs-background-enabled.sqs-block-marquee h1 {
    color: #A9B3FC !important;
  }
}

Scrap the CSS, you should be able to do this in the colours styles menu:

Make sure you are in the correct colour theme, and look for SCROLLING and Heading Color.
