samantharad
Hi There - I have completed the process to disconnect domains from a previous squarespace site and connect the domains to the new site. I manually added the Squarespace Nameservers as per the instructions. But it has been an hour since the sites were connected and I am getting a "This Website is Pending Domain Owner Verification" error. Can you please advise how to rectify this as I cannot add verification CNAME records to GoDaddy or Squarespace. Link to comment
Ziggy
You should have received an email that will allow you to verify ownership, if you haven't received that you will need to check which email address the domain is registered with. Hi Ziggy - I haven't gotten an email. Would this be coming from Squarespace or Godaddy? Is there any other way to verify? This is urgent Link to comment
Ziggy
It will come from your current domain registrar, which sounds like Godaddy. I would contact support on Godaddy first and speak to them, there's not much assistance or Squarespace Support can be at this moment. Please like and upvote if my comments were helpful to you. Ziggy
Though that said, it might be that the verification is needed by Squarespace, so try contacting their support too. I received this email which suggests that the verification is in progress. Is there a manual action that needs to take place? Link to comment

aplural
What ended up happening? Was it a matter of just waiting it out, and it fixed itself? I'm in the same limbo boat. Link to comment
