Tags on all product items missing and won't save

All my store items have missing tags. I know that I correctly entered them and saved them so I went back in and started re-entering them again.  Half way through my 100+ items, I went back to recheck the first ones I re-entered and they were all gone again!  This has wasted MANY hours of my time!  I waited over night and re-checked the next day and they are still all gone!  How can I ever get my site indexed with these kind of problems?  I tried to go to chat, but of course they too are down at the moment (even though it during the normal hours to be available).  So my only other option was to send email to Squarespace.  But they will waste more time sending me a generic email asking for basic info to verify my identity, I'll send it back, then I'll be lucky if I hear back from them with any real kind of answer or help!  Anyone else having this problem? I feel like they're stalling for time so my refund grace period will run out!
