melody495
When you say you've tried to unbold, what have you tried? Did you recently change your font settings? All the titles in that page is either h2 or h3, and font-weight is set to 700. Changing to 400 will "unbold". But that affects all your h2 and h3 across the site, so make sure that's actually what you want to do. Ammie
Thanks! I've literally just tried hitting the bold button to see if I could toggle it back to normal. I also tried removing formatting. I haven't changed my font settings, so I was surprised to see this. Attached is a pic of what the font looked like before. I'll give your suggestion a try. I also have a chat in with Squarespace and the rep was still looking for a cause and solution! Thanks, again! Link to comment
melody495
Yeah all your h2-h6 (although you can only set h1-4 in the font settings menu) are font-weight: 700. So you haven't made any changes? It just changed? Are you using a template? -------- > 👆 <---------- Please quote or @ me when replying, or I won't get a notification 🙋♀️Techy SquareSpace Developer for all your customisation needs #CSS #html #javascript ✉️ Email me ✉️ https://www.melodylee.tech/ A software developer in an artist body that knows how business works. Ammie
Yes - using a template. I did follow these directions to activate my donate button through every.org Link to comment
melody495
Strange, the button shouldn't have affected it. Maybe the template updated? I don't know much about templates, sorry. Good luck! Let me know how it goes. Ammie
Thanks, Melody! Appreciate you trying. Someone else gave me this code to try: h1, h2, h3, h4, h2 p { font-weight: 400 !important; } That seems to resolve it. Weird though. Thanks, again! Do you have a "Buy me a Coffee" thing set up? If you could, should change the settings via Font Settings. It'd be less confusing to maintain. Because in the future if you/someone wants to change the font-weight, they would go to font settings, but then it won't do anything because the code is overriding it. The code also overriding your paragraphs, actually just all your texts! Click on the brush (Site Styles) -> Fonts -> Headings -> Weight, change to 400.
